A native New Yorker, Stephanie Freeman is the Trusts and
Estates practice group Senior Associate, working closely with
Nathan S. Merrill and Leia G. Ursery in the areas of estate
planning, estate administration, and protective proceedings.
Previously, Stephanie guided self-represented individuals to
successfully navigate the Colorado state courts in the areas of
decedents estates, guardianship and conservatorship for both
minors and adults, and mental health commitments. A former
law clerk at the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals Bankruptcy
Appellate Panel, Stephanie also possesses transactional,
litigation, and appellate experience. She holds a Bachelor of
Arts degree in Philosophy with a minor in Critical Legal Studies
from Brandeis University, and earned her J.D. degree from
Cardozo Law School. Committed to equal justice for all,
Stephanie is a volunteer with LYRIC, Learn Your Rights in Colorado,
educating young people about their rights under the U.S.
Constitution.
