Karen concentrates her practice in complex commercial litigation, real estate litigation, and alternative dispute resolution. She helps clients navigate disputes involving corporate governance, contract interpretation, business planning, risk management and avoidance, construction law, and real estate law. She has also completed the Colorado Bar Association's 40-Hour Mediation training program and is an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association in commercial matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Karen was with Carson Fischer, P.L.C., a boutique firm in Michigan that serves sophisticated business clients in the Detroit metropolitan area. Karen appeared before Michigan's state and federal trial courts and argued before the Michigan Court of Appeals.
Karen is also an avid skier, an ice cream maker, and a graduate of the Second City Conservatory improv training program.
